I haven't paid full price for a gallon/litre of gas for more than a decade. Just use the app and you'll save at least 3¢/gal virtually everywhere you fill up. Get the GasBuddy+ card--a debit card that you connect to any checking account--and you save even more. Combine that with your station rewards, e.g., Shell Fuel Rewards, and I am frequency discounted 10-25¢/gal every time! You can even save inside the convenience store! (check details) If you have to purchase fuel anyway, you might as well save a bit each time. It's absolutely free! (there is a new-ish paid tier now, but that's meant for professional drivers and fleets, so everything I mentioned is on the FREE tiers. But... It's an option but you decide which is best for you.)
