I’ve been using OVO Charge for public charging for my electric car, and it’s been a really straightforward experience. The app is reliable, the pricing is clear, and it works across a lot of different networks, which makes life easier when you’re out and about. There’s a cheap (£2/month) Lite subscription that gives a 10% discount on charging too. I also like that you can earn rewards just for charging normally — it’s a nice bonus on top of what I’d be doing anyway. If you’re looking for a simple, no‑nonsense charging app that just works, OVO Charge has been solid for me.

Easy to use app that allows you to charge from multiple ev charge networks with a single app/payment method. Boosts are available and offer discounted rates at supported networks. Would recommend getting the rfid card as some chargers may have poor mobile coverage.
