Virgin Media is like that friend who promises you the best time ever, and then, 3 hours into the evening, you’re sitting in the dark wondering if you’ve been forgotten. They say "super fast internet" like they’re handing you the keys to the digital kingdom, but sometimes it’s more like the internet equivalent of trying to drive a car with the handbrake on. You'll be cruising along, watching a perfectly fine video, and then suddenly, bam—buffering. It's like Virgin's way of saying, “Hey, we know you have places to go, but let’s just... chill for a sec.”
The Wi-Fi is strong, until it isn’t. One minute, you’re living your best life, binging Netflix in 4K, and the next, your internet goes on a holiday without telling you. And don’t even try to call their customer service. They’ve mastered the art of making you feel like you’re not actually talking to a person but rather an elaborate prank that’s somehow gone on for 45 minutes. You’ll explain your problem, and they’ll ask you to “turn the router off and on” like they didn’t just watch you do that 10 minutes ago. It’s like they’re testing your patience to see if you really deserve Wi-Fi.
But hey, when it works... it works. When the connection’s solid, it’s like living in the future. Streaming, gaming, scrolling—everything moves at light speed, and you feel like a tech wizard. And let’s not forget the speeds that are actually fast when Virgin’s internet isn’t ghosting you.
In conclusion, Virgin Media is like a rollercoaster ride. Sometimes you're on top of the world, sometimes you're in the dark wondering if it’s all going to end in tears. But when it’s good, it’s really good, and you’ll swear by it... until the next time the Wi-Fi dies and you end up trying to get through to support while contemplating a career as a professional router resetter.
10/10 would recommend, mostly because I’m too lazy to call another provider and ask them the same questions.
